How do I get the baby cat to STOP CRYING?!?

My cat meows constantly at night so before I go to bed I put out a wet cat food (I get the friskies brand because she throws up with other brands) and I also leave out her regular food and water. Some cats don't care for milk and she is one of them. I'm also sure to play with her for about 15 minutes with a laser pointer (cheap at walmart and cats love them) and then when its time for bed I go lay down. She usually will meow at like 4am time so I have to call her in my room I pet her and tell her lay down, she lays down and is good for the rest of the night. Your cat may just want more attention. Also cats see things people can't like shadows which really freak cats out that could be another reason for meowing. Try the wet cat food and see if that doesn't help and also maybe leave a light on in the house too at night so they can't get spooked as easily with shadows! Also if you close your bedroom door try leaving it open so the cat can come and go as it pleases! Good luck!
